Founder-CEO
Herb Flores is a distinguished leader and advocate, known for his unwavering commitment to excellence and community empowerment. Through his pivotal role in enhancing minority business participation, particularly for Latino entrepreneurs, Flores has significantly reshaped the local business landscape and political integration of minorities.
With a strong foundation in business marketing from Auxia College and advanced certifications from esteemed institutions like the University of Havana and the Henry George School of Science, Flores exemplifies a deep dedication to learning and growth. His honorary doctorate stands as a testament to his contributions to both academic and economic progress.
As a visionary marketing strategist, Flores has led groundbreaking campaigns across various media, driving success for New York’s top businesses and political figures. His work extends to policy research and initiatives that have made government resources more accessible to the Hispanic community, ensuring equitable opportunities for all.
Beyond his professional achievements, Flores’s commitment to philanthropy is evident in his co-founding of the American Salvadoran Association of Long Island (ASALI), which provides critical aid to marginalized communities in Latin America.
Co-Founder & Chief Strategist
Melissa Figueroa is the co-founder and Chief Strategist of Latino Media Agency. She has ran several successful political campaigns and addressed thousands on the topic of equity in public education and has been featured in many local media outlets, including The New York Times, CBS, News 12, Newsday, PIX11, La Tribuna Hispana, Telemundo, Noticia LI, El Diario, and Long Island Press.
Melissa’s initial foray into public service began with her election to the Hempstead Public School Board of Education. She later served as Vice President of Long Island Immigrant Student Advocates, where her tireless advocacy earned recognition from community and political leaders.
In 2019, Melissa was appointed NYS Director of Community Affairs for the Assembly’s 18th District. In this role, she managed various legislative priorities, including contributing to the passage of local public education reforms and the Dream Act.
In 2021, Melissa was appointed Deputy Director for Latino Affairs in her local New York community, further solidifying her influence and dedication to public service.
Active in multiple foundations and nonpartisan organizations, Melissa remains committed to guiding, educating, and providing solutions that strengthen the Hispanic American community.
Creative Director
I’m Cristian Flores, a Salvadorian-American multimedia designer based in New York, specializing in video storytelling, graphic design, 2D & 3D animation/motion graphics, and VFX. My work spans across corporate, political, and creative projects, with a particular focus on political and corporate marketing through my role at a Latino media agency.
I have a deep passion for taking meaningful messages and delivering them with intentional, visually impactful narratives. My approach is personal and thoughtful because I truly believe in the power of the messages I work on. Every project is crafted with the viewer in mind, ensuring that the message resonates and leaves a lasting impression.
